The Joseph Waswa Foundation is a grassroots-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth, women, and vulnerable groups – including persons with disabilities and underserved households – through practical, community-based solutions.
Rooted in the heart of Western Kenya, with a focus on Webuye West Constituency, our mission is to promote inclusive development by addressing immediate needs while fostering long-term resilience.
Our programmes are designed to unlock potential and improve quality of life through talent development (including sponsorship and training in sports and the arts), provision of clean water, food relief, and educational support – such as bursaries and distribution of learning materials. We also offer mobile medical services and construct safe and dignified housing for families in extreme poverty.
In parallel, we prioritize civic education as a means of promoting informed participation, transparency, and good governance at all levels.
At the Joseph Waswa Foundation, we believe that sustainable change begins at the community level. Every initiative we undertake is guided by our commitment to dignity, equity, and opportunity for all.
Even if you prefer to offer support independently and not directly through our foundation, we welcome and deeply respect your efforts – what matters most is that our intentions align in bringing dignity and opportunity to those who need it most.
