JOSEPH WASWA FOUNDATION EXPANDS COMMUNITY SUPPORT THROUGH TENT PROGRAM
The Joseph Waswa Foundation has continued to make meaningful strides in community development, always striving to respond to the real needs of the people. One of its most impactful projects this year has been the provision of community tents for various social and cultural functions.
Earlier in the year, the foundation procured six tents aimed at supporting residents during important occasions such as funerals, weddings, and other gatherings. This move was designed to ease access to such facilities without placing a financial strain on families.
Due to the increasing demand, the foundation has since expanded the program, raising the number of available tents from six to fifteen. These tents now serve all four wardsβMisikhu, Bokoli, Sitikho, and Matuloβensuring equitable access whenever the need arises.
This initiative has significantly reduced the burden of hiring tents from private vendors, especially during emergencies and unavoidable functions. Families can now focus more on the purpose of their gatherings rather than worrying about the costs involved.
Through this effort, the Joseph Waswa Foundation is not only providing practical solutions but also fostering a spirit of solidarity within the community. It remains committed to bridging resource gaps and promoting unity by standing with residents in both joyous and challenging moments.
